Contractual Compliance
We will implement a standardized process by which you can share with us the insurance requirements of any project being considered. We'll review, assess, confirm compliance, or address non-compliance insurance issues prior to bid submission and do the same prior to contract signing, should you become the successful bidder. You'll enjoy a level of confidence that comes with knowing your bid includes costs of risk, and that you can confirm compliance up front to avoid payment delays.
Assessment of Safety Culture
We will engage an independent safety consultant on your behalf. This expert will explore, assess and report on the safety culture that exists in your company and on the job site. We will also offer guidance in creating a culture in which your employees are engaged in the management of risk.
Lateral Referrals
We will assist you in locating and hiring any ancillary professional services that can strengthen your business. At your request, we will provide introductions to vetted experts with intensive construction industry experience.
Improved Hiring Practices
We will take steps to assist you in your hiring procedures in order to help you avoid the resulting costs of bad or illegal hires. Through our partnerships, we will provide valuable tools critical in the hiring process including access to background checks at reduced rates and access to an advanced MVR monitoring service to provide you with notice of employee driving violations.
Best Practices Assessment
Every business endures operational hazards. Our Best Practices Assessment tools enable us to identify problematic areas and implement programs designed to mitigate future expenses. These programs can significantly reduce exposures to hazards, while forging strong partnerships among all those involved in the mitigation process. We continually evaluate and enhance programs to further reduce exposures and subsequent expenses over the long term.
Routine Review of Claims and Exposure Basis
We will regularly review all open claims with you or your staff and provide expert guidance throughout the claims process to guide you to the best possible outcome. We will also provide scheduled reviews of payrolls, subcontract costs, and revenues to ensure accurate premium costs.
Alternative Risk Considerations
We will provide consideration and guidance in exploring alternative risk management solutions that might lead to more favorable or cost-effective options for you. Self-insurance programs, captives, wrap-ups, loss-sensitive plans, and other such approaches may provide greater opportunity or may better address your cost of risk.
Transfer of Risk
We will review your subcontractor agreements in an effort to protect your interests and help modify those agreements in order to effectively transfer risk whenever appropriate. We will also provide tools and assist in training your staff to monitor compliance with your agreements.
Experience Modification Management
We will offer tools and techniques to help you better manage your experience modification. We will also audit your experience modification for accuracy and make corrections when it’s advantageous for you. By addressing open claims at the appropriate time, we can favorably address those losses that impact your experience modification calculation.

Application Features
Some features of the custom software created to facilitate CALIBRATE®Project Management - Simplified
Project management can often be a burdon to it's users, and that's why CALIBRATE® re-created the concept from the ground up. The program is designed to remove virtually all of the maintainance tasks of Project Management, and operate more as a simple guide as to what each participant needs to do next. Once a task has been completed, the next task is displayed, no updating with dates and status changes. By completing tasks like uploading or downloading of a document, the task automatically expires itself and triggers any next steps. If a task does not require your inovlvement, you do not see it, until it's completed within the "Complete" display. Contractors can select which of their people should be involved with which components, further limiting the overhead typically associated with project management. So a contractor can easily traverse through the CALIBRATE® program with a minimum of interuption to daily duties, while still aquiring the skills, training and resources offered by the program.
Easy Document Storage and Retrieval
A valuable part of CALIBRATE® includes articles by Particpating Lateral Referrals and valuable document templates that can be used by the contractors as reference. Also, all of the documents that are provided to the contractor as well as by the contractor to help facilitate the CALIBRATE® program are maintained and easily accessible within the system.
A Secure Environment
The entire site is provided on a dedicated and isolated private cloud and protected by the highest level secure certificate, insuring that the content within the site is protected. Although there are no credit cards and no financial processing handled by the system, the facility and firewall are PCI compliant, helping to further provide a safe and secure web application.
Friendly Communications Center
All communications are maintained within the web application, and at the users discretion either all, or simply the most urgent communiques can be sent to your private email address. This helps limit how many email communications you recieve to your actual email inbox, while allowing you all the necassary updates. NOTE: All communications are stored within the application for your future reference. We refer to this 100% internal email with urgent communication pentetration as CALIBRATE® "iMail". Alerts for meetings to which you are invited and tasks which are assigned to you show up only when they are relavant, and you recieve notifications when appropriate. Any image seen within the application can simply be clicked on to send a quick note, saving the time of going to your email application, looking up names and addresses and other time consuming tasks. Once meeting times have been booked, the meeting remider allows you to save into your outlook so you don't need to track your meetings in multiple places.Responsive Layout
There are many features within the web application, but most are available on all devices. The web application has been created using a Responsive layout, meaning that the web application will adjust it's screens to comply with whatever device you are using. The content is all driven from the same core data, so you still see the same information, but with a more compliant screen. Note that some functions like document uploads and downloads are not well suited for a phone interface, so those functions are best handled on a Personal Computer.
Employee Safety Training
We offer two levels of Employee Safety Training -- Within the CALIBRATE® web application we provide video training and testing on OSHA based safety as well as some equipment specific safety which will help your employees understand the appropriate safety concepts. The post video testing will allow the employer to see who has viewed the content, and how well they understood the training. A complete history of training is maintained for each employee and made available to the employer. Training is assigned based on the employees duties.

Employee Background Checks
As a part of our "Improved Hiring Practices" component we outline some very specific tasks that help a contractor reduce the risk associated with hiring the wrong employees. So it makes sense for CALIBRATE® to also offer a means by which to acquire a complete background check on employees before the hiring occurs. A significant discount has been negotiated for CALIBRATE® contractors, and can the service can be used as frequently as desired.
Motor Vehicle Reports
Our Motor Vehicle Report program allows the employer to find out about a drivers history before they are hired. But it also allows ongoing tracking to quickly alert an employer when a drivers information changes. Quickly knowing about a D.U.I. or other significant driver record changes can allow an employer to avoid costly law suites and accidents which can not be defended by pulling or re-assigning a driver found to have incidents on his or her record.
Employee Perks Program
Keeping the right employees (and keeping them happy) is a dificult and necassary task which all employers need to consider.
